• Gulf Coast snowbird route (Pensacola to Naples): The standard November–April run. Grayton Beach State Park near Destin, Fort Pickens in the Panhandle, Cayo Costa near Fort Myers (ferry access — van stays on the mainland), and Collier-Seminole south of Naples. Plan state park bookings 3–6 months out for prime winter dates.
• Canaveral National Seashore (Space Coast): 57,000 acres of undeveloped barrier island. Primitive camping at Klondike Beach — no hookups, first-come for walk-in sites. A good overnight from Orlando (1 hr) or Jacksonville (2 hrs). The solar system handles overnight no-hookup stays comfortably
