About this build

This 2021 Ram ProMaster 2500 was converted by its owner rather than by The Vansmith. We have written the details below straight from the owner's disclosure so you know exactly what you are looking at.

The layout is a classic weekender: a fixed bed across the rear with a gear garage underneath, a galley along the driver side with a sink and a slide-out 12V compressor fridge, and a bench dinette with a wood table that faces the cab. The van is insulated, has a roof vent fan, and comes with blackout window covers throughout.

Power comes from a 200Ah (2.4 kWh) LiFePO4 house battery with an inverter, 100W of rooftop solar, and a shore power hookup. Water is a simple 5 gallon fresh and 5 gallon grey jug system feeding the galley sink. There is a portable toilet, and no interior shower.

What to know before you call

We would rather be straight with you than have you drive out for the wrong van. This is a simple, honest build and it is priced accordingly, but it is not a four-season, fully plumbed rig.

Worth knowing: no furnace, no air conditioning, and no interior shower. The toilet is portable and the water system is a 5 gallon fresh and 5 gallon grey jug setup. There is no awning, no cell booster, and no roof rack beyond the solar panel. Seating is 2, so it is a couples van rather than a family van.
