Our work van platform serves both. Mobile office builds (Foundation, Grind) emphasize a sit-stand desk, monitor mount, ergonomic seating, and quiet HVAC. Trades-focused builds (Hustle) emphasize tool storage, ladder racks, heavy-duty flooring, and quick-access bin systems. We tailor the layout to how you actually use the van every day.
Every Vansmith work van includes a lithium house battery, solar, inverter, and shore-power capability. Capacity is sized to your gear (laptops and monitors, or power tools and chargers). We can also add 240V inverters, alternator charging upgrades, and dedicated outlets where you need them.
Yes. We build modular shelving, drawers, slide-out bins, ladder racks, and roof platforms in-house in Boulder. Send us your tool list or gear list during the design consultation and we will design storage around it, not the other way around.
Absolutely. Many of our clients spec a small sleeping bench or convertible bed for overnight job sites, multi-day shoots, or remote work trips. We can integrate a bed, basic galley, and even a portable toilet without sacrificing the work-zone footprint.
Work van lead time typically runs 5 to 8 months depending on complexity and current production calendar. Simpler trades fitouts move faster than full mobile office builds with extensive electrical work. Contact us for the current slot availability.
Yes. Work vans qualify for RV loan financing through our partners (LightStream, Trident, LendingTree), and for many small businesses the build also qualifies as a deductible business expense. We recommend reviewing with your accountant. Use our RV loan calculator to estimate payments.
