Prepare Your Van for Winter Adventures with The Vansmith
Prepare Your Van for Winter Adventures with The Vansmith
As the temperature drops and winter sets in, there’s nothing better than coming back to a warm, cozy van after spending time out in the cold. Now is the perfect time to ensure your van is ready to keep you comfortable on those frosty nights. At The Vansmith, we specialize in heater installations that can transform your van into the ultimate winter escape vehicle, perfect for all your upcoming ski trips.
Whether you drive a Sprinter, Transit, or Promaster, we’ve got you covered. We offer heater installations for both empty and built-out vans, though built-out vans will require an inspection and may involve additional costs. Our go-to heaters include the Webasto STC2000 and the Webasto Evo40.
- Air Top 2000 STC: Compact and efficient, ideal for small to mid-sized vans like Sprinters and Transits.
- Air Top Evo 40/55: Higher output models, suitable for larger vans or those in extreme cold conditions.
Both models are highly efficient and designed to keep you warm no matter how cold it gets outside. And if properly maintained, can keep you warm way up in the mountains.
The STC2000, which is a bit more affordable, is perfect for those sticking to altitudes below 5,000 feet. It produces a reliable 6,800 BTUs and uses just .7 gallons of fuel per 24 hours on high. For those tackling higher altitudes, we recommend the Evo40, which offers altitude compensation and cranks out an impressive 13,650 BTUs, using only 1 gallon of fuel for every 14 hours of operation. Both models are low on electrical consumption, meaning you can enjoy your adventure without worrying about draining your battery.
Investing in a van heater isn’t just a luxury—it’s the difference between your van feeling like a cozy home or an ice-cold shed in your backyard. So, treat yourself this winter. With The Vansmith's heater installs, your van can become your own private warming hut, perfect for après-ski relaxation. Reach out today and let us help you gear up for the winter season!
Rixen systems provide both hot water and heat, making your van comfortable in cold weather. However, we require an empty van to install the system and ensure you can enjoy all its amazing benefits.
If you're having troubles with your existing system, we're more than happy to take a look and come up with a plan to solve your problem!
